Hi, I’m Chas, an artist based in southern Manitoba. I’ve been creating art since high school, my journey with clay began in 2009. Over time, pottery became a way for me to combine function with fine art. Every piece I make is wheel-thrown, hand-painted, carved, and glazed—each one a unique, original artwork inspired by nature and everyday life. In addition to pottery, I also create custom pastel pet portraits, capturing the personality and spirit of animals with rich detail and softness on pastel mat paper. When I’m not in the studio, I’m a mom to four wild-hearted kiddos, wife, and the keeper of a busy home filled with dogs, chickens, ducks, and more. My art is a reflection of the life I live—rooted in love, story, and the natural world.
